Bumped into Jessica Simpson in Nordstroms at the Grove this weekend. She was there promoting her new line of shoes. Nordstroms security surrounded her while a large crowd of shoppers watched her every move. We did not make any effort to get close, but we were still able to catch a glimps of her. She looks just like how she did on her TV show, the Newlyweds.

This American Life radio show has a very good episode called "After the Flood." The first 10 minutes of this 60 minutes episode will give you a very different view of what happened in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. There is a short list of what I learned:

• People, the old and weak, strained at the Convention Center were told to line up for "The Buses" about ever 4 hours, even though "The Buses" never showed up until the 6-7 day after the Katrina passed by.
• The gang of armed men roaming the Convention Center were actually an organized group of citizens trying to keep the peace and help the old and the babies, not causing trouble.

I am pleased to announce that I have a friend who will be appearing on a reality TV show called, "The Girls Next Door." The show will premier on E! in August of 2005. This show promises to give you a behind closed doors look at life in the Playboy Mansion. From what I know already, there will be plenty of drama to make this an entertaining show.
